Shelly & Jodi started working with us in March 2022, helping us get our house prepared for marketing in May. They had many good tips on getting the house in “show shape”, and recommended a few service providers to complete some projects (window cleaning, whole house exterior cleaning, etc.). By early May 2022, we all agreed we were ready to go on the market. Jodi had us complete all the needed paperwork, and our house was posted as ‘pending for sale’. Two days before we were officially “on the market” – – we were approached by a Buyer. Shelly handled the showing, and the negotiation process. We were thrilled to settle on a price which was $30K over our asking price (😃 – great job Shelly!), as well as allowing us to stay in our house until the end of summer! Jodi & Shelly did an excellent job – – and we would highly recommend working with them on selling your home!

We did a major remodel of our main living area; including kitchen, dining room, living room, foyer, upstairs staircase, and family room. We removed everything, removed/moved walls, replaced/changed doors and windows. That was about 5 years ago and I still love the results. So beautiful, so livable, so usable. Any issues during the process were handled quickly and completely. Since completion, other than the new walls settling, which new walls will do; no issues.

She took time to understand our needs and helped us design and build a space that turned out beautifully – not only spatially, but with warm and inviting colors (she helped us choose the wood floor, cabinet color, carpet, granite countertops, etc.). We loved our finished product. We did a massive remodel and Shelly Rae provided expert consulting on selections down to the very last detail. We hired Shelly Rae of Your Home By Design to sell a home and purchase a new townhome. She helped us update our existing home to sell and make some changes to the new townhome we purchased. She was a pleasure to work with and really helped us through the process. She helped us to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Selling/moving after 31 years in our home was an enormous undertaking, but she helped us through it. And we are very happy with the outcome of our new adventure. Shelly was very thorough in the sale of this house. The staging was outstanding. She truly knows interior design and what helps sell a house. She put a lot of her own time in making sure things were done right. This house required a lot of work. She was helpful in contacting painters, electricians, plumbers, carpet layers and roofers. She also made sure that we got the lowest price for these services.
